In the tragic moments immediately after the massacre at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, hardly anyone could imagine that the brave surviving students would inspire a movement to prevent future gun violence as large as the mass public demonstrations taking place around the world today in the March For Our Lives.
At the site of the main march in Washington DC alone, while official crowd estimates are not yet available, over half a million people are expected to be attending, and if the photos from the march are any indication, the crowd is far bigger than even Donald Trump imagined his inaugural crowd was.

With politically energized crowds like this, there were sure to be a multitude of posters and signs commenting on the event. Here’s a selection of some of the best from across the country.
Bravo to all of the marchers and signmakers! If only our Congress was as conscientious, creative and industrious as you all have been, we wouldn’t need to be marching today.
Here’s one last poster for your enjoyment, saving the best for last.
